hmmm. my word and theme for the year....I've been thinking a lot about this (since the beginning of the month)? And I still don't have an answer. I love your theme "grounded growth", I love that is a complimentary contrast...like you need the grounding in order for the growth to happen. I think mine might be something that combines two opposites too...I just don't know what it is yet...

Interestingly I've come back to check on this blog now after quite a while...not realising you've not been posting but just thinking it was I who was away...as it took me quite a while to come out of my meditation cave back into the blogosphere...and there! You've been away too! Coincidentally I blogged also on the same day as you after quite some time figuring out what my New Year plans would be...

I also had been overwhelmed by the New Year till then...and associate so much with that and your need to expand slowly....I think I've been associating a lot with the Owl City Fireflies song line..."I'd like to make myself believe that the world turns slowly" As really if you don't and you take in the whole universe at once well it can be so awesome you can be off your centre as if hit by a great big tsunami! Or like a runaway cablecar careening through the galaxy dodging cosmic blasts!

Your blog continues to be so 'pretty' and refreshing! :) Shiv works for centering me but the journal does look so neat and pretty! :)

Om Namah Shivay! And thanks for the refreshing moments you provide for all in this space in the great big blogosphere! :)

Jennifer: Love your theme and post! My theme for 2010 is "Collaborate and Innovate," but I don't have a medicine bag. Thinking I need one! I did just create new affirmation cards, which are supporting me well so far.

i LOVE this post =-) what a wonderful intention for 2010! it's good to think of growth in a measured way; it doesn't always have to be at "warp speed"!!

i posted my words/intentions at my blog last week but here they are:
Art-FULL Creativity and Eliminate

i can't say i have a 'medicine bag' but my coach Pete suggested a "toolkit" that i have been working on; funny you say "medicine bag" because it reminds me of the concept of the "ditty bag" - a bag of 'magical' items kept by shamans/healers for the work they do =-)

can't wait to hear about the e-course! hope it will be in the next newsletter
